This is my kigurumi website where I will showcase my photos, write in all kinds of entries about what I do, and so on.

My Little Bio

Hikari Makino

Author:Hikari Makino
Hikari Makino is my name and welcome to my kigurumi blog. These days, I've been going live on Stickam as well as managing my new Youtube account, so now people are able to see me in action and not simply through photos.

Any questions, comments, and the like? If you want to send me a message, you can do so by sending me an email at this address:

mew_gatomon@hotmail.com

This is my main email account which I've been using for over 11 years now, so the chances of me replying to you are pretty good depending on what the message is.

The Rules of Kigurumi...."Cici's Version" with my own additions.
Not only that but I also take the liberty of fixing any spelling and grammatical errors that my sister made when she wrote this information out a few days ago. Like I said, these rules were created by Cici, and I have her permission to post them here because my rules are essentially the same as hers with some notable differences.

The Unwritten Code (As Written by Cici and with Corrections and Additions by Hikari contained within brackets for the first portion):

Public Venue:

1. Never ever kig alone.
2. Avoid crowds.
3. Never demask in public.
4. Never speak in public.
5. Always be considerate to your Fans.
6. Never do anything in public your mother wouldn't approve of (and I guess this counts for your father as well).
7. Always allow Fans to photograph you, and if anyone asks, just have someone ask for a copy.
8. Never try and out do or get into a Kig-Off with another Kigurumi in public. (This can cause a major friction between performers and let's just say that it won't end well at all.)
9. Always show restraint and consideration with Kigurumi. (It goes back to the whole friction thing I mentioned, but having been in existence before being in public.)
10. Be courteous to the Furrys. (They are our Allies) (This also applies to those who perform as Zentai because they and kigurumi are similar in a couple of ways)
11. Always show your best for the children; you are magic to them.
12. Show as much respect to others as you would want them to show you. (Respect is one of the most important things out there.)
13. (Don't react if a situation arises otherwise you could end up making things worse rather than better. Move on as best as you can and allow someone else to deal with the problem for you.)
14. Always carry a small clutch or cute bag for your introduction cards and camera. (The reason for this is because you want people to know who you are by performer name, and also if they want to have a photo taken with you, you've got the camera ready to go.)
15. Keep it easy, don't stress, and rest when you have to.
16. Hydrate, and use high protein energy bars when resting. (Make sure to rest in a private area known only to you, your fellow performers, and your handlers)

Internet Venue (Live Chat):

Note: These are my version of Cici's rules.

1. You will be seen by an internet audience which means that you will be performing in front of real people. Most of them probably won't have any idea as to what you are doing, and their reactions could become a problem unless you know how to handle them.
2. Moderators are required in order to go live because you are going to encounter people that will do questionable actions. Have at least three moderators watching your back so that there will be at least one available for the entire duration of the live chat. Make sure that you know your moderators well enough because trust is a key issue. Also, be sure that your mods will follow your rules for not even they are exempt from them.
3. Immediately ban and flag anyone who guest cams in the nude, and some will do this. Stickam patrons come in all kinds of forms, and some do have a real sick side to them for reasons I will never know. You just need to be quick in getting rid of them before anyone else sees the problem. I will not tolerate this kind of behavior during my live chats, and believe me, you don't want to incur my wrath which is very unpleasant.
4. Anyone who enters the chat and asks you to do something uncomfortable is going to be a problem, so kick them from the chat, or allow a moderator to do it for you. I won't hesitate to do this to anyone who thinks they can get away with stuff like this.
5. Emotions are best left behind when you perform because people can and will test your nerves to no end especially if you can't handle pressure. Remember that emotions during a live chat are a weakness, and you need to show strength and power in order to not cave in.
6. Be natural in that you should show your best poses, move slowly, and get up from time to time to show off what you are dressed in. People are going to ask to see what you're wearing because humans are curious creatures, so cater to their curiousity without going overboard in the process.
7. If something goes wrong, either pause the cam, or fix it as if nothing has happened. Do not allow it to carry on for long otherwise someone might notice.
8. Never give out your email, Skype, MSN, or any other way to contact you other than
through the service you are using. I don't do this at all because right now I have no plans on doing private webcams, and if anyone asks then I will say no. Don't be insistent here otherwise you could get kicked or even banned.
9. For me, moderators have to be those that I would trust with my own life given the circumstances, and their costuming background means nothing to me. However, the trust level needs to be beyond human endurance because I have a history of trust going horribly wrong.
10. Put up schedules for the fans so they know when you will be on line unless you want to come on by surprise when no one is expecting it. Please note that schedules can change without warning, so there!
11. Make sure to cross post to Facebook, Twitter and your blog provided that you have any of these things on hand. Otherwise, just ask someone to help you with it, but again the trust factor comes into play here.
12. Record footage for people who weren't able to see the live chat, but do note that it will only show the performer who hosted and no other performer. They'll just have to record their own footage and show it off on their channels. I record snippets of each of my live chats and make them available usually within 24 hours after the chat.
13. My time limit is either 1 hour or 2 hours depending on what the schedule says, so don't bother asking me to go longer than that.
14. I will answer private messages whenever they come up, but don't expect an immediate answer because I'll have a lot on my plate to deal with. If you ask me to do something inappropriate, you'll be kicked or banned depending on my choice.
15. Don't ask me to change outfits because that is up to me.
16. Don't ask me to unmask.
17. Don't ask me to talk either.
18. Once it's time up, the chat is over and that means I am finished. I will not continue on past the designated time not matter how many people beg.
19. If I am unable to go live for whatever reason, I will let people know ahead of time as best as I can, and perhaps some kind of alternative can take place.
20. Have fun and don't go crazy because the moderators are watching you. Even I will be watching you to make sure things go well.
21. Anyone who is curious to know what kigurumi is all about can ask about it, and a response will be provided for you. Not from me mind you as I wouldn't know what to say, but an answer will come as quickly as possible.
22. I'll only do requests that are asked of me once during a live chat and not again until the next one. This even includes the same request being asked by multiple people. For example, if you ask me to pose in a particular way, I'll only do so once and I won't do it again until the next live chat.
23. The above rule also applies with any accessories that I may bring out.
24. No ridiculing the accessories that belong to any performer.
25. These rules will be placed in a special area of my blog so that you can view these as a future reference, and they will be adjusted from time to time based on my own preferences.

As for the final portion of what Cici wrote which involves forums and message boards, that is something I will leave up to her because this is asubject that I'd rather not talk about. These are the rules which Cici had made and with corrections and additions made by me, and my own version of live chat rules complete with as many absurdities that I could manage to fit in there. I hope that you will accept these rules because this is what I will be using from this point on.

See you all next time.
